A multi-functional 4-in-1, highly concentrated Chlorine tablet that is a strong, powerful & slow releasing tablet for the sanitation and disinfection of pool, spa & hot tub water.

CHLORINE - Kills Bacteria & Viruses, Sanitises & Disinfects. STABILISED - Prevents the Sun's UV rays from destroying the Chlorine. ALGAECIDE - Prevents the growth of Algae in the water. CLARIFIER - A Flocculant that binds microscopic particles together (like dead skin cells & dead algae spores) that may make water look cloudy.

Particles are clumped together for easier capture by your filter, giving the Sparkle back to your water. For small hot tubs such as Lay Z Spas we recommend 1-3 tablets and for larger hot tubs 3-5 tablets. As to how often - unfortunately the question of how many tablets & how often doesn't really have one specific answer.

There are many factors to take into account such as the water flow rate over the tablets, the temperature of the water, the pool/tub size (water volume) and usage of the tub or pool; amount of people & how often it is being used. Testing the water regularly & always before using the pool or tub is the best thing to do. If the tablets are not coping with the demand then add more or if the chlorine level is too high then reduce the amount. Keep a record of how many tablets you were using and how long they take to dissolve. Tablets in pool or tub water that is particularly cool or not being agitated by jets or a pump, can take well over a week to dissolve.

FLOATING TABLET DISPENSERS SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM A POOL OR TUB WHILE IN USE. In cases where the pool or hot tub water has become green, the water should be treated with a Shock Treatment of Chlorine or Algaecide before using this product. Please Note : If shocking your water with Stabilised Chlorine Granules or any of the other products, backwash or use a clean filter and wait until all the algae has been removed and the water is looking clearer (which may take up to 24hrs of filtration) before using your TCCA (Trichloroisocyanuric acid) multifuntional tablets.

Regular testing is important to maintain correct levels. Regardless of which method or chemical you use to clear algae or shock the water, NEVER allow different chemicals to come into direct contact with each other in their dry or undiluted form.

Always make sure you have finished using one type of chemical and at least 24hrs of filtration before using another type. Never use other chemicals in a floating dispenser that has previously had multifunctional chlorine tablets (TCCA) in it without thoroughly cleaning it first. Pool, Spa and Hot Tub water should be chlorinated at all times, always test the water first for the correct chlorine levels before use.

Check the level regularly with a Test Kit or Test Strips and maintain a chlorine level of between 1-3ppm for Pools & 3-5ppm (parts per million) for Spas & Hot Tubs. Chlorine is most effective when water pH levels are maintained between the ideal range of 7.2 to 7.6.

Store in a cool, dry, ventilated place in an airtight container away from all other chemicals, solvents, acids & combustibles. Keep away from Heat / Sparks / Open Flames / Hot Surfaces. Do Not Eat, Drink or Smoke while using this product.

Do not mix with other chemicals. Wear suitable gloves, eye protection and face mask.

Open outdoors if possible and dry or in well ventilated room. Do not allow tablets to get wet before or while stored. A strong chlorine smell may be emitted when opening the lid so keep face away and avoid breathing in smell directly. Avoid breathing in any Dust / Fumes / Gas / Mist / Vapours / Spray from this prouduct. Avoid release to the environment.
